Emmerdale spoilers: Rhona arrested for kidnap

According to the most recent Emmerdale spoilers, Rhona Goskirk will be taken into custody by the police for kidnapping after attempting to leave the country with her infant daughter, Ivy.

This comes after Rhona and Ivy left the village last week, determined not to lose her baby. After that, she met Vanessa Woodfield at a secluded vacation home, where they will try to figure out what to do next for her.

Will Rhona’s arrest, however, end any possibility of ever meeting Ivy?

Vanessa attempts to talk Rhona around as Gus sets an ultimatum

Rhona is agitated and scared at the cottage. She begs Vanessa to assist her and Ivy in leaving the nation so they can establish new lives in Canada.

Vanessa tries to dissuade Rhona from the idea, but she refuses to listen.

Mary and Marlon persuade Gus not to notify the police about Ivy’s disappearance once they return to the village. He gives them until noon to locate Rhona and deliver Ivy back.

Vanessa tries to call Marlon at the cottage, but she doesn’t have a signal. As the deadline draws near, Gus becomes increasingly agitated. Marlon consents to make his own police call.

Vanessa just happens to reach Marlon, who divulges Rhona’s whereabouts. Mary begs Marlon to go speak with Rhona, and Gus grudgingly agrees.

The police arrest Rhona for kidnapping

Just as Rhona and Ivy are ready to depart, Marlon shows up at the cottage.

Despite her initial defiance, Marlon succeeds in connecting with his wife. At last, she realizes the consequences of her actions and consents to give Ivy back to Gus.

However, Gus and the cops suddenly arrive. When the police arrest Rhona for kidnapping Ivy, she is devastated.
