General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Desperate Plan, Helps Drew Escape And Go On The Run?

The latest General Hospital spoilers and news hint that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may devise a last-ditch scheme to assist Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in escaping Pentonville. Drew was recently placed in solitary confinement for engaging in a fight, and when he is released, he will be in for an even worse surprise.

General Hospital Spoilers: Fierce Threat Awaits

Drew will experience fear the week of August 21, but later that week Carly will bolster his confidence. That suggests that he will leave solitary confinement, but when he is returned to the general population, a serious threat might be waiting for him. Cyrus Renault, played by Jeff Kober, whose life was saved by Drew when he intervened, will also be back in Pentonville, though perhaps in the hospital. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will tend to a patient, who could be Drew, before Carly encourages Drew. Carly might be willing to try such a desperate plan if Drew’s life is in danger in Pentonville, but Drew might not go along with it because he’s a straight arrow. Furthermore, if he runs away, it will take him longer to find Carly and his daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).

Carly could counter that he might pass away in Pentonville, which would be worse, and advise Drew to leave for his own safety.

Before Drew entered Pentonville, Sonny reassured him that Cyrus was aware of his impending arrival and had a protector behind bars. Even so, the powerful people who slammed the doors to solitary behind Drew’s back didn’t consider it enough. It could come down to whether Drew will live or die if he manages to escape from prison. Will he genuinely believe there must be an honest prison official who will support him or will he mistakenly and naively be willing to go on the run?
