‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Surprises Carly Corinthos – Rethinking Nina Engagement?

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) surprises Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) with an offer that she can’t refuse, according to ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers. He tells Carly that he wants to do her a favor when he arrives at her home late at night. Of course, Carly finds that offensive. Carly had a purpose for changing her name. She wants to succeed on her terms without accepting assistance from anyone, especially Sonny, because she is a Spencer. Sonny is aware of this, but he has another kind of favor in mind. He says to Carly that he wants to assist Drew. Carly is drawn to his offer by this goodwill.

Sonny is aware of Carly and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison’s) sincere affection for one another. He works behind the scenes to get Drew released from solitary confinement with no conditions because he wants Carly to be happy.

Drew benefits from the fact that he didn’t inform on Sonny to protect himself. Sonny respects him because of this act of kindness.

Carly agrees to do the favor but inquires as to what Sonny stands to gain. She adds that she is unsure of Drew’s reaction as well. In response, Sonny says he is acting on behalf of Carly.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny May Be Having Second Thoughts

Fans of General Hospital are aware that Sonny will always harbor feelings for Carly despite his relationship with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Is Sonny second-guessing his decision to marry Nina?

Nina recently attempted to enter Sonny’s penthouse to retrieve some of her belongings. Evan Hofer’s Dex Heller forbade her from entering.

Nina immediately marched over to Sonny and demanded to know what was going on because she did not like this situation.

All Sonny could tell her in response was that he was defending his family. He expressed his hope that was a satisfactory justification for her.

Nina responded to Sonny by saying that it only made her feel like one of Sonny’s workers. Sonny might question Nina’s ability to manage life as his mob wife.

Recently, when Carly and Olivia Falconeri Quatermaine (Lisa LiCicero) were arrested, Sonny left Nina by herself in bed and hurried to assist Carly. When Nina realized Sonny was gone, she called Ava (Maura West).

She was asked, “What did you expect?” by Ava. Nina might need to look to Carly as an example if she believes she has what it takes to be Sonny’s wife.

Carly from GH was married to Sonny for years without asking him about every last detail because she knew how his business worked.

She was aware that Sonny needed a wife who would support him no matter what.

However, Nina might be in over her head.

Carly is ecstatic to be with Drew. Who would not? In order to save her, he treated her like a queen and entered prison. Drew makes things simple and enjoyable.

Will Carly and Sonny eventually be drawn back to one another by their attraction to one another?

What happens if Carly learns that Nina was responsible for transforming Drew and her into the SCC prior to Sonny and Nina’s marriage? Will Carly be the one to put an end to the nuptials?
