Large decisions, significant suspicions, and life-or-death circumstances are hinted at in General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, August 1. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) harbors serious suspicions, Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) faces a potentially fatal circumstance, and Drew Cain (Tajh Bellow) faces a difficult choice.
General Hospital Spoilers: Big Decisions
TJ and Molly must make a significant choice on their options for starting a family. With surrogacy appearing to be Molly’s preferred choice, TJ will at least be able to contribute and be the father of his own child. While Molly was initially stunned and incensed by Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi’s) early offer, she has been reflecting on it.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), their mother, and Molly reportedly addressed the advantages and disadvantages of surrogacy. TJ queries if Kristina will be there.
GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Has Concerns
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who is still with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the Metro Court, is concerned after Sonny brought up the Pikeman Security Group. She warned him from interacting with them in any way because she was quite familiar with them. She will inquire about Sonny’s involvement with them after hearing that he has already conducted some business with them. At the Metro Court Pool, the two were debating which of them the sniper may be aiming for.
General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Davis Has A Warning
Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) has arrived at the Invader office and is requesting Alexis not to keep him waiting while he gets to work. He had an impromptu lunch with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) while en route to assist with an article she had planned to publish. After noticing his hand issues, which Tracy said to be carpal tunnel syndrome-like symptoms, Tracy noted that the man was having trouble getting up and leaving.
Tracy called Alexis to inquire about Gregory’s condition. He has been hiding his ALS, so Alexis will now inform him that Tracy called her to inquire about his condition.
GH Spoilers: Big Suspicions
It appears that Ava Jerome (Maura West), who may have stopped by to pick up her daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), has arrived at Carly’s home. When Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) brought Carly to Avery’s house, she overheard Ava and Sonny talking with Avery. Avery was sent home with Carly by Sonny, who was undoubtedly concerned for Avery’s safety in light of the fact that Ava was being blackmailed by Mason Gatlin (Nathaniel Gray) and that he had hired Betty. Ava is accused of being up to her old tricks by Carly, who completely misreads the situation and believes that Ava is thinking about getting sole custody of Avery.
General Hospital Spoilers: Making His Case
At Anna and Sonny’s table, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrives to offer his opinion and present a case. The three had previously been in Anna’s house, where Anna had advised using herself as bait to bring the sniper out. The sharpshooter was thought to be a rogue WSB agent who supported Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), therefore this was done under that theory.
In spite of their talk about Pikeman and how they might be targeting Sonny, Sonny asks Anna what if his grandfather’s theory is accurate. Either the WSB is targeting Anna or another person is attempting to assassinate Sonny, is all that is left to say.
GH Spoilers: Kristina Corinthos-Davis Catches Up With Dad
After leaving Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) Aurora Media office, Kristina meets up with Sonny later. As the only member of the board for the youth shelter she is striving to establish, she had invited Michael to join. Sonny had been sent to her by Michael, but now she informs him that she’s not going to allow him get away with it. She wants to be able to stand on her own and make decisions for the shelter, and it sounds like Sonny may be trying to help her a bit too much.
General Hospital Spoilers: Life Or Death Situations
Drew intervened and took Book (Brad Schmidt) off of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) as he was being threatened by Book at Pentonville Prison. However, as he was defending Cyrus, the latter began to experience a heart attack. When the guards arrived to break up the altercation and take Book and Drew to solitary, Drew was able to observe what was taking place with Cyrus.
Cyrus had started to collapse when Drew persuaded the guards to let him do CPR on him; as a result, it is now a life-or-death situation. Drew keeps urging Cyrus to stay with him as he watches the light of the afterlife unfold in front of him.
