Since Home and Away has been broadcast on Australian television for 35 years, it’s not surprising that the serial has experienced a lot of births and deaths. Fans have seen Billie Ashford’s (Tessa de Josselin) infant Luc and Tori Morgan’s (Penny McNamee) infant Grace on the show during the past few years, and Summer Bay’s newest addition was born last month.
Finally, Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) and Sophie Dillman’s baby child Isabella was born. One fan has noticed an odd coincidence as the two have been enacting an emotional plot about Ziggy suffering with feelings of inadequacy as a mother.
One astute fan noted on the Home and Away Spoilers & Info Facebook page that Isabella had worn outfits similar to those Grace wore as a baby.
A fan linked a picture of Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) cradling her stepdaughter Grace to a moment last week with Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) and Isabella. The infant bodysuits on the two infants look to be the same ones from Target.
The only person who would have noticed this, I imagine, is me. Around the time Tori gave birth to Grace in 2020, my daughter was born. Grace used to wear a set of Target baby clothes that we also had at the time, the author noted.
Izzy was wearing the same outfit when I saw the Thursday night program, I noted.
Grace had more options for clothing as she got older, but as a newborn, she just had a few alternatives.
They most likely purchased this set in multiples of various sizes. As a result, she surmised that each onesie hasn’t been worn as frequently as we’ve seen them on television.
The revelation delighted the audience, and several claimed not to have paid attention to the minute detail.
There must just be a small closet because there aren’t many bubbas in Home and Away. Good pick up, someone commented.
Another person commented, “Good to see wardrobe are being frugal.
“Because the outfits are simple, they keep using the same’style’ suits. They claimed to dislike patterns and other such things, thus a third person noted that they typically choose solid colors or stripes.
Grace shared several of Luc’s clothing and toys with him. (Billie’s daughter),” added another.
