Shetland season 7 episode 2 cast: Who is in the cast?

SHETLAND is back with another new episode tonight and some new faces start to come into Jimmy Perez’s investigation. Who is in the cast?

With the second episode of season seven, Shetland is back on BBC One and takes place after the horrifying discovery in episode one. Jimmy Perez, played by Douglas Henshall, had been looking into Rachel’s (Shauna Macdonald) son Connor’s abduction. Who is in Shetland season 7 episode 2? 

Cora McLean – Anne Kidd

Cora, a physician who practices general practice in Lerwick, also conducts unofficial crime scene investigations.

She’ll probably be investigating the body that was discovered at the conclusion of the first episode.

Scottish actress Anne Kidd, who earlier appeared in Dr. Finlay’s Casebook and One of Us, is back in the series.

Jill Stevens – Simone Lahbib

Simone Lahbib, a 57-year-old Scottish actress best known for her work in the movie Bad Girls, portrays the new character Jill.

She also played Katy Lewis in EastEnders and appeared in the film Wire in the Blood.

Sheena Davidson – Pauline Turner

Pauline Turner, a 50-year-old Scottish actress, portrays Sheena Davidson, the proprietor of a waste management company.

She is well-known for her roles as Frances in Peaky Blinders and Mary Graham in Martin Chuzzlewit.

Her role as June Begbie in the 2017 movie T2 Trainspotting may also be recognized by fans.

Granton Davidson – Billy Mack

Billy Mack, a Scottish stage actor who has also been in TV and cinema, plays Granton.

He has performed in The Crown, Outlaw King, and The Farm, among other plays. He has won numerous theater prizes.

Lynn Henderson – Jessica Hardwick

Jessica Hardwick, a Scottish actress who has been in the films Float and The Lost King, plays Lynn.

She played Hannah in one of her earliest performances in the audio series This Thing of Darkness.

DCI Melanie Reid – Laura Cairns

Laura Cairns’ character, DCI Melanie Reid, joins the investigation.

The Crown, The End of the F***ing World, and Trust Me are among Laura’s best-known works.

Stevie – Ryan J Mackay

Ryan J. Mackay, a Scottish actor who previously played James Potter I, James Potter II, and Cedric Diggory in the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, plays Stevie.

The actor posted a selfie of himself on Instagram from outside the theater where the performance was taking place.

When he returned from his vacation to London the previous week, he said: “Seeing my friends there made me tearful. Seeing my friends in this concert made me emotional.

Dealer – Michael McCardie

Michael McCardie, whose past credits include Wasted and Dropping Off Michael, had a guest appearance in the second episode of Shetland.

Walker – Cameron Jack

The Scottish actor Cameron Jack, who plays a guest role, also joins the cast. He has a tremendous list of accomplishments to his credit.

His most notable performances were as George in Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married, Norman Wilcox in Trickster, and Connor in Emmerdale.Perez convinces Rachel that yesterday night’s awful discovery might not be related to her son Connor’s disappearance, according to the episode’s official synopsis. “Perez has no choice but to follow him, and soon finds himself caught up in a deadly voyage into the ex-history,” cop’s says Danny, who is furious at the decision to allow Pepper Waldron’s family to return to Ayrshire. Jimmy Perez is played by Douglas Henshall for the final time in season seven. He thought that the character’s arc had reached a natural conclusion. Fans have yet to learn who would take over as the head of the investigations in place of him.
