Sue Cleaver, a star of Coronation Street, expressed her outrage at being forced to front a weight loss “scam” after she dropped weight due to “women’s health issues” without her permission.

via a video she put to her page, Sue Cleaver spoke to her Instagram followers and explained how she had gotten inquiries regarding “keto gummies” via messages.

The actress from Coronation Street claimed that using her name to advertise weight reduction supplements was “obviously a scam” and cautioned fans against falling for it.

“Really really terrible that I have to really film this video, but over the last couple of weeks, I’ve received quite a few messages asking me about keto gummies. There’s definitely some scam going around saying I lost weight with keto gummies, however, it is c**p.

It’s a fraud, and if you fell for it, I’m truly sorry. I just want you to know that I would never, ever, ever advocate for something so absurd.

“I am furious, I am utterly furious. Yes, I quit drinking last year, and I also went into the bush.

I did lose weight this year, but it wasn’t due to a diet. I lost a lot of weight—too much weight—due to various women’s health difficulties. At the moment, I look terrible, and I’m attempting to gain weight.

“Life is too short to stress about diets and quick solutions; just be happy with who you are; you are a wonderful person. It makes me crazy,” she continued.

The legendary soap star, widely known for her role as Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street, lost three stone after discovering she had a significant health issue.

When the actress made a guest appearance on the cobblestones last month, viewers discussed the actress’ weight loss on Twitter.

As Rachel62387306 put it, “You go girl, how well does Eileen look (Sue Cleaver) Looking good girl.” “How gorgeous does eyelash.. sorry Eileen look,” John Crandley continued. Corrie @Sue_Cleaver.

KeananLord reacted: “OMG what has happened to Eileen (@Sue_Cleaver) she looks fantastic, loving the new hairstyle #Corrie @itvcorrie.”

Wow, Sue Cleaver is looking AMAZING, Lewis exclaimed. Please tell Eileen a big story. #corrie.”

“Crikey,” said Ace. For a split second, I wasn’t sure that was Eileen! Sue, you look fantastic.

Since her initial appearance on our screens in 2000, Sue, who has played Eileen, has lost many dress sizes as a result of her Type 2 diabetes diagnosis.

After passing out on the Coronation Street set, she was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Diabetes, which results in persistently elevated blood sugar levels, is described by the NHS. Diabetes comes in two basic varieties. When a person has type 2 diabetes, which Sue does, their body is unable to create enough insulin. Around 90% of all persons with diabetes in the UK have Type 2.

Sue started a health journey, changed her nutrition, and in 2019 went from a size 16 to a size 12. The soap actress is rumored to favor the Mediterranean diet, which tends to have a minimal intake of meat and dairy products and is heavy in vegetables, fruits, legumes, nuts, beans, cereals, grains, fish, and unsaturated fats like olive oil.

Regarding Sue’s weight loss, a source earlier informed Woman magazine the following:

“Sue was always a self-described foodie who recognized that overeating was her downfall. Everything has changed now. Given that Sue is in her mid-50s, it was obvious that she needed to cut back on certain things.

In the jungle on I’m a Celebrity, she also dropped some weight, and she later said: “I’m not obsessed over diets: life is hard enough! There will always be external pressure and unjust expectations placed on women, but I choose not to succumb to them.
