Before Tommy meets Perry at the park, he and Alfie have a heated argument back at No. 55.
Alfie discovers him and is appalled. He sends Tommy home, where the two fight once more.
Unaware of the drama at the bookies as Freddie tries to take control of Ernie, Phil criticises Alfie’s parenting when he goes to pick up Tommy.

But when Dad prevents him from seeing Perry, things take a turn for the worse once more. Will they ever be able to patch things up?
Following the punch, Phil reveals that Tommy also punched Kat, and the two decide to take Tommy to the Boxing Den so he can fight a kid his own age there.

Alfie agrees to meet the solicitor with Linda, delaying his check-up even longer, despite George Knight (Colin Salmon) and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) both quickly dismissing the notion.
Alfie quickly decides he needs to see a doctor, so he hails a cab to the hospital, but Tommy spots him.

Will Alfie let Tommy know what’s wrong? Or will he argue with his son incessantly and suffer in silence?
