In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, a shady businessman, portrayed by soap star Robert Beck, will wreak havoc when he returns to the Yorkshire Dales after a 24-year absence.
When Nate Robinson (played by Jurell Carter) is forced to work for a “dangerous” customer, Emmerdale is in for some dramatic moments.
Harry, a tough client of Nate’s new company, will be introduced to ITV viewers next week in the serial drama played by Robert Beck.
However, when the Dingles get entangled in a web of his shady enterprises, it won’t be the last time the viewer sees Harry.
In the upcoming weeks, Nate will quickly realise that he is in over his head as he is unable to get out of the criminal underworld he has become entangled in.
He’ll need to ask the Dingles for assistance soon, but will they be able to do so?
Robert initially portrayed Gavin Ferris, Bernice Blackstock’s (Samantha Giles) lover, in 78 episodes starting in 1999.
“I am thrilled to be working on Emmerdale again; it’s a great show that I have followed for years, with a fabulous cast,” the actor said of the role. It’s held a special place in my heart ever since.
I had a great time working on the show 24 years ago when I played Gavin Ferris.
I have a lot to thank Emmerdale for because the cast and crew were extremely hospitable and because of that job, I met my wife.
The actor went on to say, “I’m looking forward to getting involved and to working with such a great bunch again.”
“We are thrilled to have Robert join the Emmerdale family to play Harry,” said Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw.
“Dangerous and unpredictable, Harry will bring drama and peril to some of our most beloved villagers, with some twists and turns along the way that our viewers really won’t be expecting!”

Will Nate get into problems to the point where he has to leave Emmerdale with his small family?
Nate might be able to be rescued from the criminal underground by his father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
