The blonde beauty spoke candidly about Ava’s relationship with Austin and how she still finds him mysterious in a new interview with Soap Opera Digest. What she says is as follows.

After the two of them hooked up, Ava tried to leave as quickly as she could, according to Maura, who spoke with the publication for her interview. Who could blame her, after all? When thinking back to that time, Maura exclaimed, “I kind of giggled at that, too! Yes, she was not prepared for that [haystack roll]. She’s not prepared for that relationship, and she’s not even sure she wants it. However, you must admit that Roger Howarth, who enters Austin, has a certain allure. “When someone knows a dark secret, in her words, you have to kill them or you’re kind of at their mercy,” Maura continued. She has those choices, after all. And in a way, she is at his mercy. Additionally, she is at the cousin’s.

Now, in terms of where they are going together, Maura implies that even Ava is unsure of the answer. He still remains somewhat of a mystery to her, the actress said.
