Spoilers for General Hospital indicate that Carly Spencer (played by Laura Wright) is occupied tidying up after her Halloween party at Kelly’s Diner when she is startled to see someone walk in even though the establishment is now closed.
Carly first becomes alarmed, fearing that someone is going to break in and rob her. However, she neglected to lock the doors and observed with caution as someone walked into the dimly lit restaurant.
Any fear, though, was quickly dashed when she saw it was none other than Cameron Matheson’s character, Drew Cain, making an unexpected exit from Pentonville.
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain was shocked that his prison sentence was shortened!
Drew was found guilty of insider trading—a crime that Carly had actually committed—and received a lengthy prison sentence. However, Drew accepted responsibility and attempted to work out a deal with the prosecution for a brief jail sentence in exchange for them not filing charges against Carly.
However, the authorities broke their word and gave Drew a prison sentence of several years. They did, however, honor their pledge to not charge Carly. Carly did, however, wind up with a sizable fine.

In an effort to avert an inquiry into Carly’s offense, Drew and Cain concealed their comparatively recent romance for several months, particularly after Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) made repeated threats to alert the SEC.
Carly and Drew can finally go public with their romance now that Drew is free and the insider trading scandal is behind them.
Even though they hadn’t really been that good at hiding their feelings for one another, a lot of people in Port Charles will probably be shocked by it, especially the Quartermaine family members.
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain will slowly adjust to his freedom!
When Drew finds out that she worked with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to demonstrate that the judge who sentenced him might have been bought off to significantly lengthen the sentence, he will be appreciative.
Drew will be appreciative for sure, especially considering that he was nearly killed and severely beaten in prison.
Given another chance, Drew needs to see someone else right away. Their daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) will be overjoyed that her father is back, having missed him a great deal. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will undoubtedly be pleasantly surprised to see Drew has been released.
