General Hospital Spoilers: Grant Putnam Pikeman And Behind The Attacks?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest that another former WSB and DVX agent may be responsible for the current spate of issues in Port Charles. Grant Putnam (Brian Patrick Clarke) is the man who had revenge on his mind against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) in the past.

General Hospital Spoilers: Grant Putnam, Or Grant Andrews?

The story of Grant Putnam and Grant Andrews (Brian Patrick Clarke) is complicated and twisted; Andrews, real name Andre Chernin, was a Russian spy who had been expelled from the DVX and was sent to pose as Putnam. Although they were unrelated and resembled each other in every way, Putnam’s crimes were worse than Andrews’. Grant Andrews wed Sherlyn Wolter’s character Celia Quartermaine (whom she later divorced), and in an effort to win her over, he stole the Aztec Treasure from Sean Donely (John Reilly). While Celia was beginning to fall in love with Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond), Sean stole the treasure back. That’s right, Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) was still involved with Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) mother Charity Gatlin (Gloria Carlin).

GH Spoilers: Grant Putnam Framed Grant Andrews For Murder

The tale of the two Grant doppelgängers may serve as a comparison to Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlain, both of whom impersonated Jon Lindstrom. Even though Putnam worked as a doctor at GH and could be viewed as a serial killer like Ryan, Andrews would be the Kevin, while Putnam would be the Ryan. In order to ruin their marriage and frame Andrews for an attempted murder, Putnam pretended to be Andrews even when he was with Celia. He also murdered Filomena Soltini (Argentina Brunetti) and several other people while kidnapping Anna.

When he was younger, he attempted to kidnap Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) in retaliation for Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) decision to readmit him to the mental hospital. Both Grants appeared to have been double WSB and DVX agents back in the day when Jimmy Lee punched him and knocked out his lights.

General Hospital Spoilers: Both Still Alive, But Only One With A Motive

Putnam was committed to an English sanitarium because he was insane, while Andrews relocated to Cairo. Putnam would be the only person with a reason to kill Anna, even though he might have been thinking about it if he was the one who spray-painted “murderer” on the wall. Unless he has memories from Anna’s time as a double agent, in which case Alex Devane (Finola Hughes), who impersonated Anna at the same time, may have been the culprit.

Putnam, and possibly Pikeman, is the person who is targeting Anna, shooting up the Metro Court pool area and possibly setting fire to Anna’s home. Nobody is certain if he was in Berlin when the sniper’s gun was found in the WSB arsenal, or if he had a coworker.
