General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Corinthos Has Had To Stay In A “Bubble”

Willow had to remain in a “bubble” after leaving GH in order for her immune system to potentially recover after her bone marrow transplant. Even close contact with her children was restricted, and the gatehouse had to be cleansed before anyone could enter. She once had to wait for retests to ensure that the transplant “took” in that regard and for the generation of new red blood cells.

The time has come for Willow to undergo testing to ensure that her transplant “took” and that her immune system is recovering by producing new red blood cells on its own. She is optimistic yet anxious, hopeful yet cautious, but that is normal; all she wants is to be able to return to her normal life.

GH Spoilers: Willow Corinthos Goes In For Her Big Checkup

Willow checks into the hospital for a thorough examination that will involve numerous blood tests and blood testing. She is accompanied by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who also waits for the results with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) desired. Carly would have, but she’s now working on revitalizing and rebranding Kelly’s to make it once more the center of the community like it once was. She intends to throw a sizable party there to honor Willow’s complete recovery if the news is good—it’s the least she can do. Bo Harrison and Viron Weaver’s characters, Amelia and Wiley Corinthos, are staying at home with the nanny. While his sister is sleeping, Wiley is anxiously expecting news.

Willow and Michael learn the good news and let everyone know about it after conducting numerous tests and retests to be sure. After receiving a clean bill of health, Willow’s immune system is regenerating with lots of her own new blood cells that are evenly balanced between red and white. Nina is ecstatic, and they share the good news with the rest of the family as Carly organizes a party at Kelly’s.

Willow has finally overcome the obstacles after nearly two years of poor health and procrastination on her side, which only made things worse for her. It’s time to rejoice and start organizing your long-awaited honeymoon in Paris with Michael!
