Since the early 1990s, Sharon Newman has had a significant role on Young and the Restless. She has experienced all the difficulties that come with playing a popular soap opera character. She has gone through marriage, divorce, and widowhood. She has both lost and found children. She has both committed and witnessed adultery. She has also brewed and consumed a lot of coffee. But this is the very last thing Sharon needs to go through once more.

Fans were thrilled when Sharon (Sharon Case), the teenage lead turned leading lady, found a new love interest after spending what seemed like an eternity just listening to Adam’s (Mark Grossman) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) problems and cooing over Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) off-screen child. Not just any new romantic interest, though. Chance (Conner Floyd), Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) ex-husband, and Sharon shared a bed. Abby who once had a relationship with Sharon’s boyfriend.
Young & Restless:Â Scott Free
Scott was his name. He is the older son of Lauren (Tracey Bregman). He was younger than Sharon at the beginning of their relationship, but so what? If Nick and Adam, Sharon’s ex-boyfriends, can battle over Sally (Courtney Hope), a woman who is over two decades younger, Sharon may cougar everywhere she wants if she so chooses. Regardless of the negative encounter with Scott and Abby.
Sharon Newman:Â Deja Vu All Over Again
We’re about to watch a Sharon repeat, with Chance playing Scott, and that worries us. However, we’re not concerned about Abby this time. Been there, done that, and is now occupied with Devon (Bryton James) and their happy family life.
About Summer (Allison Lanier), we’re concerned. She has been opening up to Chance, sobbing on Chance’s shoulder, and disclosing her marital woes. We are aware of the outcome. And the pairing would be acceptable to us. Unless doing so meant harming Sharon. She has also experienced that. She is not entitled to repeat the behavior.
