The attractive blonde spoke candidly in an interview with Soap Opera Digest about some of the good points and low points of playing Christine throughout the years, including the time when her personal life was hurting while her legal profession was thriving. She also discussed Christine’s various romantic partners throughout the years. She recalled Christina’s relationship with Danny and stated, “We knew it wouldn’t be simple, but the problem was convincing the Danny and Cricket followers to become Paul and Chris fans. My dad was taking things very carefully and not putting any pressure on himself, as evidenced by the fact that I knew Doug [Davidson, Paul] was concerned about it. She added that it’s not as simple as some might believe to portray a lawyer in a soap opera. “Personaly, the dialogue and legalese are crazy-hard,” she said. I used to feel envious of the other actors who had to do easy dialogue because my lines were so much more complicated. However, there was a part of me that was secretly relieved when Christian [J. Regarding Cricket’s future, Lauralee stated, “Selfishly, I would love to have a little bit more fun. I don’t mind at all if you play the serious DA; I just really enjoy it when there’s a balance to demonstrate that you can work hard and play hard at the same time. I called Brad a couple of days ago and asked him, “Did you say this?” after it was discovered that I was heading to B&B. I guess I did, he said. And I asked, “What were you thinking?
