“That love scene with Sharon and Chance was shockingly hot,” another critic commented. Chance is usually quite uninteresting, so I was astonished to see that he has come alive in scenes with Sharon. I didn’t think it would have! They weren’t coerced like Snick either; rather, they built over months.
Additionally, it was said that Tucker and Ashley “have chemistry.” On a chemistry level, I can actually tolerate virtually any pair, but not when the writing for the couple is bad, as it is for Nally. The ruin of the original characters cannot be made up for by the performers’ likeability.
