Nobody on The Young and the Restless does it better than Audra Charles when it comes to causing controversy and steamy drama. She has been subtly but purposefully transformed into one of Genoa City’s most alluring personalities by actress Zuleyka Silver.
Zuleyka Silver: Audra Is More Than A Vamp
The most appealing thing about Audra is that she’s not just a vamp. She is undoubtedly a sexpot who seduces guys (Kyle [Michael Mealor]), breaks a few hearts (Noah [Rory Gibson]), and sleeps with some powerful people (Tucker [Trevor St. John]), but she makes good use of all of her skills. She is, however, much more than that. She is brazen. She is spunky. She also has a calculating mind, which she uses to develop well-thought-out game plans to achieve anything she desires.
Young and the Restless: Stirs the Pot
Audra has likewise been molded by Silver into the ideal troublemaker. Who can ever forget how she used Elena (Brytni Sarpi) to her advantage, sowing the seeds of suspicion about Nate (Sean Dominic), and then framed her to discover him in bed with Victoria (Amelia Heinle)? She appeared to enjoy ruining their connection.
She then spoke with Summer (Allison Lanier) about her issues with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), all the while having an affair with Summer’s ex-husband Kyle. Audra lacks inhibitions and bounds. She views life as one big, absurd game.
Zuleyka Silver: Smarty Pants
Audra is a brilliant, feisty woman who has a lot of attitude. She is a power player who is adept at leveraging her abilities to advance up the corporate ladder, as she did at Newman Enterprises. She is independent and successful in her own right. She won’t always utilize a man, but she doesn’t actually require one to accomplish her objectives. However, most of the time they are just enjoyable diversion to keep her company while traveling.
