A Coronation Street star prompts speculation of a quick return to the cobblestones.

Daisy Midgeley of Coronation Street was reconciled with her mother Christina Boyd six months earlier, but their bond was still strained after she forbade Daisy from attending her wedding to Daniel Osbourne.

Amy Robbins, who plays Christina Boyd on Coronation Street, was seen last week leaving the show’s studios.

Prior to the wedding of Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), Christina first arrived in Weatherfield in January.

After a fierce disagreement with Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews), the pair’s already tense relationship deteriorated much further.

Christina left as a result of her decision to abstain in order to maintain peace and avoid upsetting Daisy and Daniel’s special day.

Since Daisy departed, Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still) has been horribly stalking her. He later attacked Daisy and Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) with acid.

Christina might be going back to the cobbles after letting the dust settle in an effort to get in touch with her daughter.

How will she react when she learns that Justin’s heinous deeds caused her big day to be wrecked and that she was complicit in them?

A soap insider confirmed Christina’s comeback to The Sun, saying: “Amy is incredibly well-liked in the cast, so everyone was happy to have her back.

She will occasionally enter and exit the soap opera.

Amy Robbins said goodbye to Christina “for now” on Instagram when she initially left the cobblestones.

She captioned the picture of her as: “Ta ra for now then. Christina’s poor. She had even purchased a hat! I appreciate you having me, you great people at Coronation Street. (sic)

Since then, she has uploaded a picture of herself with Rob Mallard and Charlotte Jordan to wish them success at the Soap Awards.

Sending a big smacker and heartfelt congratulations to all the bright guys who took home the top honors at the soap awards tonight, she said. @charliejordanxo @rob.mallard #coronationstreet I’m a really happy mother. (sic)
