The Love Island’s Zara McDermott and EastEnders’ Bobby Brazier have reportedly caught the attention of the Strictly Come Dancing pros after impressing the group with their dance talents at the first training session.

This year’s contestants on Strictly Come Dancing, Zara McDermott and Bobby Brazier, seem to be the hot favorites, and the professional dancers are already “fighting” over who will partner up with them.

The EastEnders and Love Island veteran apparently made an impression on the pros during an early training session earlier this month.

In order for the showrunners to test potential pairings and identify good combinations, the stars perform group routines during these sessions.

“Zara and Bobby are without a doubt the favorites,” a source added.

“They both have great potential on the dance floor, therefore all the dancers want to be matched with them.

The pros are competing with one another to persuade the bosses to choose the ideal partnership.

Everything is still up for grabs at this point since they are aware of how much their airtime depends on how brilliant their celebrity coupling is, the source told The Sun.

The Love Island villa incident in 2018 is when Zara, 26, gained the most notoriety. Since then, she has been on Made in Chelsea, The X Factor: Celebrity, and her own BBC series.

The son of late Big Brother contestant Jade Goody and TV host Jeff Brazier, Bobby, 20, portrays Freddie Slater in EastEnders.

Another fan favorite is Adam Thomas, 35, who played Adam Barton in Emmerdale.

Les Dennis, the 69-year-old host of Family Fortunes, demonstrated during the session that he “won’t be the joke act” and is taking the show “seriously,” the source continued.

The oldest entrant, 79-year-old Angela Rippon, also dazzled the crowd with her “swift” dancing steps.

Beginning next month, the 2023 season will have additional A-listers including Layton Williams, Amanda Abbington, and Nigel Harman vying for the prized Glitterball Trophy.

Both BBC One and BBC iPlayer will have access to it.
