EMMERDALE resident Cain Dingle could be sent back to prison after he’s arrested for the death of killer Meena Jutla.

After Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) found Meena Jutla (played by Paige Sandhu) had murdered his daughter, Leanna, Emmerdale viewers assumed she’d finally be caught out (Mimi Slinger). After discovering that the nurse had kidnapped her sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) and Vinny Dingle, the doctor from the ITV serial came to her aid (Bradley Johnson).

Vinny escaped with only minor injuries, but Manpreet had a heart attack in the hospital and was placed in a coma.

After her sister confessed to her killing spree, the GP is the only person who can testify against her.

Leanna and Ben Tucker were murdered by the nasty nurse, who admitted it (Simon Lennon).

Meena, however, managed to flee the police before they could apprehend her and is now on the run.

The villagers are afraid that the villain would return, and it is only a matter of time before she does.

After learning that Meena was to fault for the murder of his beloved daughter, Liam has gone on a rampage to exact vengeance.

On Monday night’s episode, the GP asked Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) for help, asking if he had a pistol.

Liam tried to persuade Cain to help him track down Meena so he could murder her.

The mechanic was initially hesitant, but he agreed to take Liam out into the middle of nowhere to demonstrate how to operate his shotgun.

However, he quickly came to his senses and advised Liam not to do anything stupid.

“Give me that,” Cain instructed. “You’re not shooting no one.”

On Tuesday night’s instalment, Liam was still hellbent on seeking his revenge by killing Meena.

Although, when Cain paid him a visit, he explained he couldn’t be a part of his plan.

“You know why I am here,” the mechanic began. “I can’t do it, mate.”

“I see,” the doctor said as Cain went on, “I understand what you’re going through.”

“I don’t believe you do,” Liam retorted, before Cain added, “I mean, I can see why you’d want to do this.”

The doctor said, ” “That is why I asked you, and why I continue to ask you. So, it’s back to plan A, I think.”

Cain shouted, “I am not going to let you ruin your life,” oblivious to the fact that Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) was eavesdropping behind the door.

“”It’s not your choice,” Liam screamed, as Cain pleaded, “Please consider this.”

“You’re going to acquire a gun, track down Meena, and kill her to death? There is no turning back now.

“This isn’t the person you’re looking for. You’re not the type to murder someone in cold blood, are you? This isn’t going to make a difference.”

“Well, we’re just going to see about that, won’t we?” Liam protested.

Cain may have refused to help Liam carry out his plan, although, will the doctor end up stealing the mechanic’s gun to kill Meena?

If the police connect the gun to Cain, the mechanic could get framed and arrested for a crime he didn’t commit.
