After Nate Robinson’s most recent secret was revealed on the ITV soap, Caleb Milligan of Emmerdale tries to buy him some time to keep quiet.
In upcoming Emmerdale scenes, Nate Robinson (played by Jurell Carter) continues to worry about their money issues but does not share Tracy Metcalfe’s (Amy Walsh) optimism.
While Corey arrives with a job offer for the garage that intrigues Cain, his father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) tries to comfort a frazzled Dan Spencer (Liam Fox).
At The Woolpack, Cain is encouraged as he and Corey decide to work with the garage on a business arrangement.
When Nate shows there, he is shocked but happy to see Corey from school, and the two of them share a pint.
When Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) inquires about whether he still wants her daughter’s hand-me-downs, Nate becomes humiliated.
Being in the shadow of Corey’s success on the ITV soap leaves him feeling like a failure.
Later, Moira admits that accepting Caleb Milligan’s (Will Ash) loan helped her sleep better.
Cain is irritated as his son exits the bar after Nate declines to take on more work.
When Nate begs Corey for a job, he is saddened to see that his former classmate is unable to help.
As an unimpressed Caleb closes a whispered call, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is overjoyed that he can assist.
As Caleb watched the Emmerdale hardman go with grief and wished there was more he could do, Cain pays their first installment of their debt.
Later, as Mackenzie is working in the garage, Nate gets irritated and leaves, knowing exactly what he needs to do.
When Nate walks into the office and asks for a job, Corey’s face falls.
In the meantime, Caleb’s cover as a quiet investor is blown when he sees Nate there.
As Nate pieces everything together, a terrified Caleb tries to turn around, but Nate is prevented when Caleb pays for his quiet.
Nate soon threatens to tell his father every detail about Caleb’s company unless he grants him a long-term position.
