Due to his background in business, EastEnders icon Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) naturally considered finding Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) a company to invest in as a way to assist her win back her daughters.

After abandoning her daughters Gina and Anna (Francesca Henry and Molly Rainford) nine years ago, Cindy plans to make peace, but Gina is unhappy and won’t allow it.

Cindy is wounded when she is humiliated in front of everyone at the Queen Vic.

Ian makes an effort to persuade her that she can get Gina back after the incident and makes a pledge to bring her a new business to court Gina and Anna with.

Later, Ian develops a master plan and invites Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) to a business lunch after realizing he needs funding to put it into motion.

Nish’s business tactics haven’t always been ethical, so Ian may be taking a major risk by asking him to invest. Viewers will be aware of this.

Not to mention that he has already served a significant amount of time for murder.

The business lunch for Ian doesn’t quite go as planned, which is either unfortunate or lucky depending on how you look at it, and the transaction is soon completely off the table.

Cindy, who is still adamant about getting her daughters back, goes to meet Nish later in an effort to convince him to change his mind.

The following day, Ian still isn’t ready to give up on his business plan and asks Nish to join him for a tasting at the café.

Nish changes his plans, and Ian goes to the Queen Vic.

Things deteriorate when Ian cruelly retaliates after George Knight (Colin Salmon) demeans him in front of Nish.

Has he destroyed his opportunity to work with the Panesars?
