Emmerdale rumors: After a hot date, Liam will 'walk all over' Charity because he is in love with her.

Our 2023 Emmerdale bingo card most definitely did not have Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) going out with Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), but we have to admit that it was a great scene to watch.

In the dramatic episode that aired tonight (August 30), Liam showed up at the Woolpack early for his lunch appointment with Charity despite Gail’s (Rachael Gill-Davis) wager that he wouldn’t.

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Leyla Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi) both showed astonishment when Gail revealed the reason for his visit to the bar, but Liam reassured them that it was Charity’s idea.

Although they both vehemently discouraged him from doing it, it was already too late by the time he stood up to flee.

Charity showed that she was dead serious when she showed up at the doorway dressed up, dispelling Liam’s concerns that she had been playing him off.

Now that it was evident the date was going to happen, Cain gave some last-minute dating advice. He said, “Humour her, pay the bill, and then scarper.”

Midway through the evening, Liam commented on how unexpected Charity’s request for a date had been and questioned whether it had anything to do with her ex, Mack (Lawrence Robb).

After a one-night affair left Charity confused of what the future would hold for them, she recently vowed to entirely forget about him.

Charity noted that occasionally Cupid’s arrow might strike unexpectedly, as Liam seemed perplexed by her newfound interest in him.

Charity confessed that she used to enjoy a hot romance to get her heart racing as the talk quickly shifted to Liam’s murder mystery books.

The doctor was in the middle of talking about how amazing the human body can be when Charity interrupted him and said, “You have yet to study” my body, pointing out that a racing pulse could be brought on by a variety of factors.

Liam appeared to be thoroughly smitten as they made their way back to the Woolpack.

On the other hand, Charity told Gail that while she had enjoyed herself, he was certainly not the man for her since she would end up trampling all over him.

Liam told Cain about the date and admitted that he might be falling for her, but Cain cautioned him to be cautious.

Will Liam eventually experience heartache?
