Fans "work out" the identity of Chloe's dad when a beloved villager from Emmerdale "exits" the show.

On Thursday night’s episode of Emmerdale, Nate Robinson’s lie was eventually uncovered, and Caleb Milligan was made to pay the price.

Fans believe that Caleb Milligan, who is portrayed by Will Ash in Emmerdale, may be leaving the show soon after being banged up by newbie Harry (Robert Beck) in last night’s episode.

After Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), who was meant to be transferring the bad guy’s weaponry, failed to do so, Caleb was forced to confront Harry.

Nate chose to let Caleb in charge of the situation rather than confront the truth himself.

After Nate confided in his wife Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) about his anxiousness, she told him to tell Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

In their haste to locate Caleb, Nate and Cain found the businessman in a difficult situation but it was too late.

Caleb’s son Nicky (Lewis Cope) was horrified when Cain and Nate took him home after he refused to go to the hospital.

When Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) noticed the condition in which Caleb was in, he hurried to his rescue but voiced his concerns.

The doctor said that if Caleb’s condition worsened, he would need to go to the hospital.

Nate had nowhere else to go after Tracy threw him out of the house at the end of the episode.

Fans have, however, developed their own hypotheses about the plot, and many believe that Harry may play a weird role in it.

While some seem to worry for Caleb’s safety, others appear to believe Harry could be the father of Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland). Could the businessman’s wounds cause him to pass away?

@MickJohnPNEFC speculated on Twitter that Harry is Chloe’s father: “Harry is Chloe’s dad #emmerdale.”

“This Harry has got to be Chloe’s dad right, he sounds dangerous,” @TVMusings22 concurred. However, since it’s Emmerdale, in all actuality it’s probably just a water gun. (sic)

“Caleb survived being pushed off a cliff, but getting knocked around by some fists is what’s got him at death’s door,” wrote @BallumsHouse in response to people’s worries about him. #Emmerdale.” (sic)

“A couple of months ago Caleb was pushed off a cliff fighting for his life, and now he’s fighting gangsters,” @Reeceyboy2591 continued. Any predictions for #Emmerdale’s future? (sic)
