Favorite from EastEnders is ill with Covid and is unable to return to Walford

The part one of Thursday night’s (August 24) EastEnders episode, which has yet to air on TV but can be seen on BBC iPlayer, contains spoilers in the following article.

When it comes to her ideal honeymoon, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) hasn’t had much luck, and we’re starting to suspect that it could be cursed.

Just before their tragic wedding, Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) surprised his future wife with a Greek trip, leaving her speechless.

Rocky, however, ultimately lost the vacation to Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) at a poker table after his bachelor night took an unexpected turn.

When Kathy found out what he had done, she was appalled and almost thought about calling off the wedding, which in hindsight would have spared her a lot of trouble!

Following her decision to go through with the wedding, Kathy discovered who exactly had her ideal honeymoon and discovered that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was unaware that her husband was cheating on her.

The two decided to organize their own poker game as a way to avenge their spouses.

When the honeymoon was once more on the line, Rocky and Nish watched in terror as their wives raised the stakes.

It didn’t take long for Kathy to get her vacation back and she was pulling Rocky away to pack.

One of the primary topics of conversation in the Queen Vic was inspired by raunchy pictures from their trip, which showed the couple clearly enjoying themselves.

Unfortunately, as Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) indicated in recent scenes, things took a turn.

Bobby experienced the shock of his life when he called his brother Peter (Thomas Law) back to Walford in order to save the chip store that Kathy had put up for sale.

Peter, who was determined to make amends, inquired as to whether or not the newlyweds were sleeping in. Bobby’s response that they were still on their cruise caught him off guard.

Covid had knocked Rocky out on board the ship, so neither of them could leave until he gave the all-clear, he explained.

A nightmare indeed!

Will Peter and Bobby be able to modify the situation and convince her otherwise before she returns home, even though Kathy and Rocky are still a ways from Albert Square?
