Matt Little, who is returning to Home and Away for the “wedding of the decade,” has not totally experienced what most actors do after finishing a project, parting ways with both the cast and staff.

Little, who served as VJ Patterson on the show from 2014 to 2017, lives in Sydney and frequently revisits his memories of “Palm Beach sunrises” when taking in the city’s renowned coastline.

He stated, “I think about it every time I’m up in the Northern beaches or something like that.”

“I just feel like I’m really fortunate to have that as my job and get to travel to some of the most breathtaking places on earth.”

The 31-year-old, who initially gained notoriety in Summer Bay when he was 20 years old, called his reunion with former and current cast members “emotional” after spending some time apart.

He came back to play Leah Patterson-Baker’s son, portrayed by veteran Ada Nicodemou.

“Working with people I haven’t worked with in a long time and who I was close to was really quite emotional, and it was amazing to be reunited with long-time friends,” Little remarked.

Several other cast members, such as Penny McNamee, who plays Tori, were invited home, and the actor enjoyed working with “mates” he’s known for ten years in a setting that feels like a “community.”

He stated that keeping it to himself was the largest obstacle.

Little was warned, “Don’t say anything on social media.”

While attending the Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest, James Stewart, the star of the long-running soap opera, who plays soon-to-be-married Justin, disclosed that the celebrations were organized up to six months in advance.

He declared, “It was the most beautiful thing in the world.”

“We wanted to have the wedding of the decade, and I don’t say this lightly. And we only have that.

The Queensland-born actor allayed concerns that the major event might cause unrest or sadness on the show’s idyllic coastline.

“There are no explosives, and no one is rising from the grave. Nothing will be ruined or an ex-husband returning to storm down the aisle.

The wholesome event, set against the stunning backdrop of the Hunter Valley, will not be available to fans until April.
