General Hospital spoilers: The week of August 21, 2023 Brings a New Doc

Fans will get to see Jeffrey Stubblefield as Dr. Bronson this week. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will be treated by the new doctor in town.

Last week, Gregory revealed his ALS diagnosis to his son Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). He was on the floor after falling when his granddaughter, whose care he was watching, discovered him in a corner.

She later told her dad that her grandpa had fallen and she was scared as Finn put her to bed. Finn only needed to hear that to start questioning his father after learning that he had been given an ALS diagnosis and that his symptoms were getting worse.

Among Stubblefield’s accomplishments is Good Trouble.

This week, Hudson West is also back in the role of Jake Webber, the son of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

He will appear in the same scenes as Herbst and Austin Gatlin-Holt, played by Roger Howarth. The question of what is wrong with Jake is raised by this.

He might be fine, but it’s odd that he talks to his mother and a doctor who works at GH. He might require medical attention, or he might be there for some other reason.

It will be interesting to see where the show takes this plot now that Gregory’s secret is out. Harrison staying on the ABC soap opera would be adored by fans. Given his fatal condition, that seems to be impossible.

However, the show has a history of altering diagnoses; Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), a different GH character, was treated the same way.

When the persona arrived in town, he revealed that he had abandoned his family in the past due to a schizophrenia diagnosis. After a few tests, he discovers that his diagnosis was incorrect.
