Fans of General Hospital, get ready for a wild week filled with casting announcements and surprises, including Jackson Montgomery and more!

With debuts, returns, and some unexpected twists, Soap Dirt gives you exclusive insights into what’s happening in Port Charles. You’ll be looking forward to the next episode with anticipation.

The text that follows is taken from a recent General Hospital video. See the video down below. Also, don’t forget to check us out on YouTube.

General Hospital’s Latest Updates with Belynda

Hello, General Hospital fans! I’m Belynda from Soap Dirt, and I have your comings and goings for the upcoming week on General Hospital. We have some information regarding the Chase family and Gregory Harrison’s family that is connected to an upcoming new person.

Lily Anne Harrison’s GH Debut

A new character connected to Curtis’s rehab stay will be appearing, and a naughty nurse will have more scenes. Another return from that crossover with All My Children. Now let’s get started. Gregory Harrison, who plays Gregory Chase, has a “bring your actress daughter to work day” because his daughter got a part on General Hospital.

Lily Anne Harrison is who she is. She recently made an appearance as Andrea Gates, a potential surrogate for TJ Ashford and Molly Lansing, on Tuesday, August 15. She is a professional actress. Lily Anne disclosed that she has previously appeared in several General Hospital audition

Violet Finn Returns with a Heartbreaking GH Scene

Speaking of Gregory Chase, we have scenes with him and the endearing Jophielle Love, who is reprising her role as Violet Finn this week. She has scenes with her grandfather Gregory, which are very upsetting because some of his ALS symptoms worsen while he is watching her.

And it presents him with serious difficulties. So, it appears that this may be the turning point where he realizes he must inform his sons of what is happening.

Mykel Shannon Jenkins’s New General Hospital Role

Our next casting news concern a man by the name of Mykel Shannon Jenkins. This week, he’ll appear under the name Roy. Since he has previously appeared on General Hospital, I won’t say that he is debuting. He’s portraying Roy, a physical therapist, this time.

During his time in rehabilitation for his paralysis and that spinal injury, he is working with Curtis Ashford. If you happened to watch the reality competition I Wanna Be a Soap Star, Michael Shannon Jenkins won the first season, which aired in 2004 and had, I believe, two seasons total.

A part on General Hospital was the prize that was promised. However, a lot of people were extremely irate because of the minor part they gave him.

He also didn’t have many scenes or lines of dialogue. The character was then killed off with a shot. But this time, almost 20 years after winning I Wanna Be A Soapstar, he has a real role. Congrats to him; perhaps this will lead to him becoming a soap opera star.

Lauren Swickard’s Continued GH Appearance

Okay, we also anticipate more from Lauren Swickard, Josh Swickard’s wife. She is the unkind nurse Janice who works at Ferncliff, and she will be present as long as Sasha Gilmore is held captive.

Walt Willey and the AMC/General Hospital Crossover

Okay, we have one more significant casting-related piece of news. As Jack Montgomery, Walt Willey is back. We’re going to have a repeat of the AMC crossover with Jackson. Later this month, he will return. Of course. It is connected to the drama starring Martin Gray and Lucy Coe.

But just as he didn’t the last time, Jackson Montgomery won’t hang around for very long this time either. If these Jackson Montgomery All My Children crossovers are making you happy, here is another. The good news is if you don’t like it. It won’t last for very long.
