General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Austin Demands Answers, He Didn’t Kill Gordon Stevens!

The most recent General Hospital (GH) teases and spoilers After being questioned about the passing of Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall), Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will seek clarification. Austin may find himself in hot water after being seen arguing with the deceased man, all thanks to his wicked cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathaniel Grey).

General Hospital Spoilers – Interrogated At Work

Prior to being questioned by Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about Stevens at work because he seemed suspicious, Austin was unaware that Stevens had been shot behind GH. He later presented him with a picture of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), whom he refused to acknowledge, and informed Chase that he had seen Stevens at the Port Charles Grill. When he was out to dinner with Ava Jerome, Sonny Corinthos, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Maura West, Maurice Benard, and Maurice Benard, he had tracked him down to complain about a bill.

Chase didn’t give Austin the sense that he wasn’t a person of interest when he indicated that everyone at the hospital that night was being questioned. Without a doubt, Austin will confront his cousin Mason!

General Hospital Updates – Paid Him To Leave Town-Yeah, Right!

Austin now knows Mason “paid him to leave town” permanently and that he is one of several people of interest. Mason claimed to have taken care of Stevens and had paid him to leave town. That’s not how family should be treated, and Austin is getting tired of defending Mason and the “family”—especially when he ends up taking the blame! Of course, Chase’s expression when he said Sonny-Sonny was presumably Chase’s next trip — in the back of Austin’s mind. Even worse, Ava Jerome (Maura West), who is going to be held accountable for Mason’s actions, believes Austin killed Stevens. Just when things are getting started between Austin and Ava, Mason won’t ruin them.

No Fall Guy Here, Final Warning

In addition to attempting to fit in as a Quartermaine, Austin went from Pautawk to Port Charles because he is simply sick of Mason interfering with his life. However, the Quartermaine family, especially his father Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond), never welcomed him, so he eventually gave up on that but continued to work at GH. Up until her daughter wouldn’t accept him, Austin was adjusting and having a simple relationship with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Then he moved on, and Mason appeared!

Mason was more difficult to get past than Georgie Spinelli (Eden Harker), and he was putting her in risk. In order to protect Georgie, Austin decided to break up with Maxie, and he’s now strongly considering breaking up with Mason as well.
