Now that the Godfather of Port Charles is aware of what General Hospital gangster Mason Gatlin has been up to, he is a target. He may soon see the end of his reign of terror on the ABC serial opera.
General Hospital: Mason Gatlin Pulling the Strings
Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) is in charge right now on General Hospital. He has his cousins Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) exactly where he wants them.
When he realized that Ava had “killed” Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), he undoubtedly struck gold. Ava is now under the control of him and whoever his master is.
And they’re interested in learning more about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) agreement with Pikeman Security. General Hospital, though, is again on the defensive.
Sonny Corinthos Knows the Truth at Last on GH
Recently, Sonny sensed that something wasn’t right with Ava. He was aware that she was lying when she stated her motivations for selecting Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini), a new nanny. He then confronted her and compelled her to explain what was happening.
On General Hospital, she ultimately broke down and informed Sonny that Mason was threatening both her and her birth mother, Delia Ryan (Ilene Kristen). If Delia doesn’t comply with Mason’s demands, he will kill her. And he can do it without a doubt.
She also revealed the enormous truth she had been hiding—that she had slain Nik—when the kingpin asked what type of power Mason had over her. Mason then grabbed his dead body. Ava is unaware that Nik is genuinely alive, though.
He’s unconscious, and Mason has him hidden somewhere. He has Ava’s cooperation as long as he has Nik—at least till now. Soon, Sonny assures Ava that he will handle everything. That ostensibly means Mason has moved up Sonny’s target list.
Kingpin Puts a Hit on Pautuck Mobster on General Hospital?
The mob boss promises Ava that he will soon know the whole truth on General Hospital. He claims that he would “fix everything,” which most likely means that Mason will be killed. That might be Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) upcoming order.
Mason might, however, pull a fast one. The existence of Nikolas is unknown. Therefore, by using Nik’s whereabouts as leverage against General Hospital, he might be able to save his own skin.
He and Ava won’t ever know where Nik is if Sonny kills him. When Ava learns that Nik is still alive, she might ask Sonny to keep Mason alive at least until they can locate Nik.
So, for the time being, the Dark Prince may be the only thing that can protect Mason from Sonny. However, the Don would finally make him pay, making him a walking corpse. On GH, there is a lot of drama and action. Keep an eye on the ABC sudser to see if Sonny gets rid of Mason Gatlin.
