Get caught up on all the juicy goings on in Port Charles this week…

Unwelcome flashbacks, characters getting the short end of the stick, and much more can be found in the General Hospital recaps for October 3–October 7, 2022.

General Hospital Recaps: Monday, October 3

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is rescued by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but Spencer isn’t sure that Cyrus did it out of pure altruism. Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) received assistance from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in getting ready for Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) burial. In Jacksonville, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) persuaded Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to use a piece on local news to bring her fight to the general public.

When Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) couldn’t find Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), she stormed Pozzulo’s. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) was questioned by Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) about Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) deceased wife, Reiko, but Gregory was unable to provide Elizabeth the answers she was looking for.

GH Recaps: Tuesday, October 4

James Patrick Stuart’s Valentin Cassadine begs Chad Duell’s Michael Corinthos to rejoin ELQ, but Michael refuses. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) was unable to identify her attacker, but she was certain that it was a woman. Josslyn calls Michael because she can’t get past the enforcer tasked with watching over Dex. They are able to rescue Dex from his situation by working together. Carly thinks back on her difficult childhood.

Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) receives a visit from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), who takes great pleasure in telling him about Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) disappearance. Charles Shaughnessy’s character Victor Cassadine gives Marcus Coloma’s character Nikolas Cassadine the ultimatum to divorce Ava. Despite his reluctance, Nikolas decides to do it. Esme observes the men’s hostile behavior while still very much alive.

General Hospital Recaps: Wednesday, October 5

Ryan is told by Ava that Esme’s destiny is her fault. Esme listens in on conversations between Josslyn and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) regarding Dex and between Trina and Ava concerning the latter’s brutal assault. After that, Esme goes to Ryan’s room. The ensuing printed smear piece defeats Carly’s critics who are fighting fire with fire.

Despite Michael’s protestations to the contrary, Dex resolves to carry out his mission to kill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Katelyn MacMullen’s Willow Tait and TJ Ashford’s embrace is misinterpreted by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as an embrace between them (Tajh Bellow).

GH Recaps: Thursday, October 6

Ryan questioned Esme, and she denied being The Hook. Max Faugno’s Oz Haggerty came into conflict with the menacing foe who was armed. Trina and Curtis were reconciled by Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Elizabeth looks into how Reiko passed away. At The Savoy, Chase enters the stage. Brook Lynn discovers that the civilian review board’s final ruling in Chase’s case will be delivered shortly and is concerned that it will have an impact on their strategy to neutralize Linc Brown (Dan Buran).
