General Hospital Recaps: Revelations, Warnings & Fear

Allegiances are made clear, relationship cracks start to appear, and much more are covered in the General Hospital recaps for August 21 through August 18, 2023.

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) continues to engender Anna’s (Finola Hughes) growing mistrust. Sonny (Maurice Benard) is cautioned by Valentin not to argue with Pikeman. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) receives an original song written by “Eddie” (Wally Kurth). Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) security concerns Carly (Laura Wright), who is growing worried.

Roger Howarth’s character Austin meets with Cyrus (Jeff Kober), who is supposedly Mason’s (Nathaniel Grey) and their boss, during their visit. Anna couldn’t help but defend Valentin against Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). In order to repair their relationship, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Finn (Michael Easton) talk about Gregory (Gregory Harrison). Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) enjoyed each other’s company. Dex (Evan Hofer) makes Book (Brad Schmidt) fear God at Sonny’s command. With Selina (Lydia Look), Marshall (Robert Gossett) puts his foot down. Trina (Tabyana Ali) finds comfort in Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) was humiliated by Selina and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder).

Deception has been accused of stealing intellectual property in a lawsuit. Glady’s attempts to pay off her debts are hampered by the ensuing freeze on corporate accounts and stocks. Josh Kelly’s character, Cody, performs his wacky antics for an unimpressed Mac (John J. York). Kelly Monaco’s character Sam demands that Cody be honest with her. Carly is questioned by Sonny regarding her trip to Pentonville. When Portia (Brook Kerr) sees Spencer and Trina together, she gets nervous and worries about Curtis (Donnell Turner).

Sam consents to help Cody obtain admission to Ferncliff. The surrogate chosen by TJ (Tajh Bellow) and Molly (Brooke Anne Smith) are introduced to Alexis. In order to include Willow, Nina (Cynthia Watros) insists on having a winter wedding. Willow is eagerly awaiting word on her readiness to resume work. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is informed of Gregory’s diagnosis. Amanda Setton’s Brook Lynn gives Jane Elliot’s Tracy some food for thought. Weekdays, ABC broadcasts General Hospital.
