General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane in Shambles

According to General Hospital spoilers, in the most recent GH weekly promo, Anna Devane shoots an intruder in her new apartment and is horrified. As the ABC soap opera’s investigation gets underway, it makes everyone panic.

General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane Crumbles

This week on GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) discovers that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is the “armed intruder” inside her apartment, and she is completely horrified. At the moment, Anna doesn’t know Charlotte is the one scaring her.

Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is aware of this, of course, but he is withholding it from Anna. Until he can figure out how to support and shield Charlotte on General Hospital, he will remain silent.

Charlotte dipped out and went to Anna’s while she and her friends, Jake Webber (Hudson West), were trick-or-treating. Her exact plans are still unknown because when Anna got home, she discovered her door was unlocked.

She believes that the person pursuing her is a WSB agent attempting to hide his identity. Furthermore, she would never have guessed Charlotte would be present. When the intruder turned around after she yelled, “Freeze!” Anna fired because she believed the person was armed.

When she realizes it’s Charlotte from General Hospital, she can’t believe what her eyes are seeing. Jake then appears and makes a help request. Anna is perplexed, in fact, and finds it hard to believe that she shot her boyfriend’s daughter. And she may be charged with a serious offense soon.

PCPD Scrambles on GH

Subsequently, the PCPD attempts to piece together the information they have by starting an investigation. DA Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) hold a conference with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Anna is close to all three of them. They genuinely believed she was protecting herself, and they know she wasn’t acting maliciously. But they must set aside their sentimental attachment to Anna and face the reality.

Dante informs Jordan and Robert that Anna locked the door to General Hospital after leaving her apartment. The door was unlocked when she returned. She opened fire believing she saw someone breaking in with a weapon.

Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are at The Invader, trying to make sense of the situation. Gregory questions Charlotte’s initial purpose for being at Anna’s.

In another scene, Jake begs his mother Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), a nurse, to reassure him that Charlotte will be alright at General Hospital.

Anna Unleashes Her Fury on General Hospital

The final scene of the teaser features Anna in the GH stairwell with a man who appears to be Valentin. She’s yelling something and she looks angry. She then pulls away and gives him a really hard slap.

Valentin most likely acknowledges that Anna Charlotte is the guilty party, and he has known this for a while. Indeed, all of this could have been avoided if Valentin had just told Anna the truth straight away.

Charlotte wouldn’t have to battle for her life at General Hospital, and she would still be safe. Moreover, Anna wouldn’t be engulfed in guilt. Thus, it’s unlikely that their union will endure for very long.
