Spoilers for “General Hospital” (GH) suggest that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may be preparing to put her foot in it once more. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was initially put in jail as a result of a move she already made. Will she ultimately take a step that puts her in trouble or worsens his situation?

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Insider Trading

Carly Spencer and Drew Cain were engaged in insider trading, according to a tip the SEC received from an unidentified source. Carly responded to the news that they had heard about a potential merger. Drew has never invested.

Carly actually lost money on her investment when the merger failed. She nevertheless took the advice and tried to profit from it.

Drew made the decision that he could not bear the thought of her going to jail after they were reported. He made the decision to plead guilty if doing so would spare her from going to jail. He struck a deal with the prosecution, promising to keep her out of trouble in exchange for a guilty plea and three months in a minimum-security facility. The arrangement didn’t sit well with the judge. The deal did not impress him, and he felt that justice ought to be done. Drew received a three-year prison term at Pentonville Penitentiary from him. Carly received a fine from the SEC but was not put in jail. The courtroom was stunned by the judge’s decision.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Just Can’t Wait

Carly has been attempting to handle her financial predicament. She was worried that she would have to sell the house in order to pay her fines, but she was able to acquire Kelly’s Diner and has been working hard there.

That has helped to temporarily ease her financial difficulties. She will be able to keep her home due to its newfound success.

She does, however, appear to be finding it difficult to hold out while she waits for Drew to finish his sentence. He shouldn’t have to serve any more time in a jail cell, in Carly’s opinion.

She is eager for him to return home and join her. Carly makes an effort to persuade Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) that they should seek out a new judge who might be persuaded to grant Drew an early release.

That, according to Diane, is a bad idea. Carly might get herself into trouble by trying to control the situation. She might even make it more difficult for Drew to get released as soon as possible.

Diane thinks Carly should just wait patiently for Drew to finish his thought. Carly, however, appears to be hard to stop.

How do you feel? Is Carly and Drew’s plan going to get them into more trouble?
