‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Dex Jason’s Son?

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), according to ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers, might be Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) son. According to ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, Dex could be Karen Wexler’s (Cari Shayne) child from a previous relationship with Jason, when Jason was a Quartermaine. Since no one else was aware of the father, Karen could have kept the child a secret. She might have even been able to place Dex for adoption when he was a young child. It makes sense why Jossyln Jacks (Eden McCoy) is drawn to Dex so strongly. It reminds me of when Joss’s mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), fell head over heels for Jason.

If Dex had held Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) responsible for his father’s passing, Dex might have come to town to settle a score. Jason neglected his family for many years as he devoted his life to Sonny. The possibility that Dex and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are related could be even more problematic. Dex most likely wouldn’t fit in with the Quartermain family and might become resentful if they tried to force a connection. Dex’s mother, Tracey Quartermain (Jane Elliot), would undoubtedly disapprove. She considers Sonny to be the lowest form of human being. She refused to approve of a relative serving as one of Sonny’s men.

It was interesting that Carly herself instructed Dex to keep Sonny safe and secure rather than assisting Michael in defeating Sonny. It increased the friction between Dex and Joss over Dex’s involvement with Sonny’s world. Dex agreed to do it, and Joss concurred that it was his decision. It’s been entertaining to see Dex go from being against Sonny to actually supporting him. Dex now appears more menacing and badass, which greatly increases his appeal.

Dex’s relationship to Jason, one of General Hospital’s most well-liked characters recently, would also win over viewers. When Joss finds out that Dex is Jason’s child, how will she respond?

If Steve Burton ever makes a comeback to General Hospital, Dex’s plotline might pave the way for it.

It’s easy for a soap opera to plan a good back from the dead story. If Jason is actually still alive, it would be very rewarding if he went back to Port Charles and found his son there waiting for him.

Additionally, Evan Hofer, a newcomer to GH, would have some fantastic material to work with. We could see him interacting with Jake Webber and Danny Morgan, his two younger brothers. Dex should establish connections with everyone he is connected to on the canvas.

Additionally, it would add a fresh level of interest to Dex and Sonny’s storyline. Sonny would be inclined to do anything.

Not to mention, Burton has frequently stated his desire to return to GH to wrap up his career by portraying the iconic role he created.

For this plot, writers could draw from a wealth of ‘General Hospital’ history. Without a doubt, Dex would begin to feel the same way about Sonny as Jason did, and vice versa.
