Fans have been on the edge of their seats, according to General Hospital teasers, as Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy) finds herself in a perilous scenario. Her boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), has a significant role in the criminal organization of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Joss will have to face her anxieties and determine if she can tolerate being in a relationship with someone tied to the mob as she learns more about Dex’s actions in the company. Now that Sonny is aware that his entire family is in danger, he plans to prevent Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) from ever moving in Grace Scarola’s (Avery Corinthos’) direction. However, let’s be honest: Sonny will tell Dex to handle that task rather than doing it himself.

Sonny will be in a better position to safeguard Ava Jerome (Maura West) now that he is aware of what Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) has been concealing. Sonny also doesn’t have the same level of faith in Austin that Ava does. Perhaps because she was compelled to follow him, Ava never truly trusted him.
Otherwise, why would she confide in Sonny at such a crucial time? Whatever the case, Dex may not even need to inform Joss of the situation. Since Carly Spencer’s daughter would also be impacted by a change in the family nanny, Sonny may inform Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) of Ava’s situation. Will Carly’s comfort level with Dex working for Sonny alter if she informs Joss of the dangers that surround him?
GH Spoilers Suggest Dex Isn’t Open With Joss
Joss is immature and young. She believed that Dex and she were being completely honest with one another throughout their relationship. She should, however, be aware by this point that Dex’s transparency does not include revealing Sonny’s business secrets to anyone, including her. Joss was exposed to the effects of mob life as a child and determined to stay away from it as an adult.
Joss, however, will start to feel less than at ease with this way of life as she finds herself lured further into Dex’s world. Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) family’s suffering prompts her to doubt her capacity to manage the peril and uncertainty that come with being with Dex. Will Joss grow to hate Dex for hiding the true extent of his peril?
General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Doubles Down
Soon, Joss will have to choose between her love for Dex and her need for security and stability. She has good reason to be concerned about Dex’s job. Anyone would doubt their level of comfort in a relationship after finding out that Dex was required to dispose of a dead corpse only a few days after narrowly escaping danger at the Metro Court pool when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was shot. Although Joss doesn’t want to let go of Dex, she might end up wishing he kept his distance from Sonny and the mob.
