General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Won’t Fall Hard Enough For Esme, Who Will Take Her Pain Out On Trina

According to General Hospital spoilers, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has been pleased to collaborate with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) on improving the situation for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), Spencer’s infant brother. He and Esme have been able to let their guard down over the past few months. Now, they resemble friends almost, and he certainly treats her as such. His feelings about Esme came out when he expressed them to Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy). Since they are now family, Spencer may have become a little too forgiving of Esme. But she’s about to get a rude awakening because that doesn’t mean he’s falling for her the same way that she is for him.

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Misreads All the Signs

Spencer may have defended Esme to Joss, of all people, but that doesn’t mean he views her as anything other than Ace’s mother. He may have a soft spot for her and some understanding of the difficult time she’s been through. Esme was amused when Spencer remarked inadvertently that she was a good mother to Ace; this was a compliment she hadn’t anticipated receiving. Esme has begun to believe that Spencer might be sensing the spark between them that she hopes she isn’t imagining, especially in light of his laid-back demeanor as he traveled back in time and revealed how he once felt about her, before everything went south.

GH Spoilers Hint Spencer Isn’t Interested

Esme hasn’t had the courage to tell Spencer that she’s developing feelings for him, but when she does, rumor has it that it will backfire in ways she can’t possibly predict in advance. Esme has another thing coming after Spencer humiliates her and leaves her with egg on her face, contrary to her earlier belief that she wanted to leave town and the Cassadine family behind. Nothing will matter to Esme more than getting revenge as she struggles to determine whether she truly misread all of those signals or whether he is backing down due to feelings she knows he has for her because he has a girlfriend. Some things never alter, right?

Esme is once more falling for Spencer, and when he doesn’t reciprocate her feelings, she will criticize his girlfriend in typical teenage fashion. Spencer didn’t seem to be leading her on, but that couldn’t be his fault, could it? Esme will take it hard when Spencer doesn’t reciprocate her feelings for her, even if he didn’t mean to, and she won’t take it lightly when she later sees him with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Is the old Esme about to come to her senses and make sure Trina can’t hold on to Spencer? How do you suppose she’ll manage it without having to leave town just to see him pursue her?
