For the week of Monday, August 28, to Friday, September 1, General Hospital spoilers and updates tease courtroom pep talks, buddy brainstorming, and danger stalking.

Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) brainstorm, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) gives her team a pep talk in court, and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is in danger.

General Hospital Spoilers: Courtroom Pep Talks

At the Port Charles Courthouse, where Deception Cosmetics’ lawsuit alleging intellectual property theft is pending, Maxie makes an effort to maintain a positive attitude.

There have been allegations that the concept for “The Deceptor” was taken from a competing cosmetics company, and everyone is as uneasy as a mouse being chased by a cat!

As Maxie tries to reassure Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), they are both filled with fear.

Maxie claims that the hearing is a good chance to catch the mastermind behind this and put an end to them once and for all.

When Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey), the opposing attorney, enters the courtroom at that precise moment, the three women all turn around.

GH Spoilers: Buddies Brainstorm

Brick and Sonny discuss possible suspects in Sonny’s office, which is likely the one he uses at Pozzulo’s. The first incident involved the shooting in the warehouse where the initial meeting with Pikeman was to take place; the identity of the sniper who was killed has never been discovered. Then there was the shooting at the Metro Court, where it was unclear if Sonny, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), or possibly both of them were the targets.

The sniper is still at large, and the only lead he has is a gun taken from the WSB arsenal. Pikeman is connected to the WSB. Brick hypothesizes that it might be an inside job where someone is attempting to get rid of Sonny in order to take Sonny’s money for themselves.

General Hospital Spoilers: Danger Stalks

Dex is also in danger because, at Sonny’s request, he was transferred from watching over Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to watching over Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), who works behind the counter at Kelly’s, has somehow learned that Dex has fallen victim to a trap; perhaps she overheard a conversation. Carly is upset while on the phone, possibly with Dex, the boyfriend of her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). “Do you hear me-get out of there, now!” Carly yells to the person on the other end of the line as she is on the verge of panic.

According to the appearance of the corrugated metal surrounding the staircase, Dex is seen stumbling up some stairs that are most likely from a warehouse or another location at the docks.
