Fans of Coronation Street have seen Stephen Reid embark on a murderous spree over the past year, but his secrets are beginning to come out.
In the event that actor Todd Boyce’s character Stephen Reid gets apprehended for his crimes, Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has admitted she will miss him.
Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost), Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin), and Rufus Donahue (Steve Meo) were all killed by the Canadian businessman after his return to Weatherfield last year.
In order to obtain her life insurance proceeds, he also targeted Elaine Jones, a former fiancée played by Paula Wilcox. However, when she discovered he had lied to her, she bolted from the cobblestones.
Iain MacLeod, the show’s executive producer, promised viewers that even though the criminal had eluded capture by the police, they will see him pay in the end.
Actress Tina discussed the effects on the Platt family with Express.co.uk and other media outlets as Stephen’s collapse was drawing near.
The serial star acknowledged she hopes it would bring them closer when asked if they will all stick together when Stephen is inevitably exposed.
“I genuinely don’t know how this story ends, so it will be very interesting,” she declared.
I sincerely hope that Todd stays, but regardless of how things turn out, I will be devastated.
“Because I love working with him and I adore him.”
We are an award-winning family, therefore I sincerely hope it strengthens our bonds.
We need to be together and work through this together, and I think it would be fantastic if that sentiment spread.
As Rufus’ estranged wife Lou (Eleanor Howell) appeared on the cobblestones, it seemed that Stephen’s reign of terror may end earlier than anticipated.
He is horrified to see that Lou now has the essential piece of evidence after realizing he dropped his tie pin at the site of the crime when he killed Rufus.
Stephen was determined to get the pin in order to remove himself from the site of the crime since she thinks her husband’s death was suspicious.
The killer dropped the pin down the drain, but a strange figure managed to retrieve it back.
Could this person, whose name is still unknown, be the one to bring Stephen to justice for all of his murders?
