Home and Away star Tessa James unveils glam makeover in rare TV appearance

When Tessa James played blonde party girl Nicole Franklin on Home and Away from 2008 to 2011, she quickly gained notoriety.

The 32-year-old former soap opera star debuted her stunning new look live on The Morning Show on Thursday while doing her first broadcast interview in eight years.

James turned up the heat with her new look, which saw her ditch her signature long blonde locks in favour of a nifty brunette bob which she wore in a bun.

A $700 designer Albus Lumen white suit replaced the actress’s revealing crop tops and jeans from Summer Bay, and as she laughed with the hosts, she exuded style and sophistication.

The Melbourne native highlighted her attractive features with a light coat of makeup and couldn’t help but smile as she talked about her new job as an interior architect.

Son Saynt is the only child of the couple whose birth has been made public.

Saynt was born in December 2017, and the pair joyously announced the event on Instagram two months later.

In a February 2018 interview with The Daily Telegraph, Tessa called becoming a mother a “incredible” experience.

“I’ve always been creative, and both my sister and my mother are interior architects.” We made the decision to band together and make a serious effort, she said.

We are a really strong support system for one another and can lend a hand to one another. This is a nice juggling act because my sister also has a young daughter.

With her NRL star husband Nate Myles and their three kids, Tessa resides in Melbourne.

‘The baby was born last year, so it’s been a little while. But it’s been such a wonderful, special time,’ she said.

When Tessa was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the age of 23, Saynt arrived barely three years later. During that time, Tessa’s husband supported her while she took chemotherapy to try and cure the disease.

In 2009, Tessa and Nate were introduced by their common friends Jodi Gordon and Braith Anasta. Tessa gained renown for her role as Nicole Franklin on Home And Away.
