On Home and Away, Ethan Browne has found himself at the epicenter of the drama.
Prior to lives hanging in the balance following her automobile being involved in a major crash, his character, Tane Parata, was supposed to be getting married to his longtime girlfriend Felicity Newman.
However, he is a devoted father to his 14-year-old daughter Aaylah when he is not working on the soap opera.
How old is Ethan and where is he from?
Ethan comes from the little New Zealand town of Wairoa and is about 31 years old.
He has talked about incorporating his Maori culture into the program and honoring his background by having his character perform the Haka ever since he joined Home and Away.
When did Ethan start acting?
Ethan once worked in civil engineering but changed his career after deciding that he wanted to pursue acting.
He moved to Australia to complete his education and spent a short time in Brisbane. To further his schooling at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, he relocated to Sydney.
Ethan had his first significant acting job soon after graduating, a three-year contract with Home and Away.
When asked about it afterwards, he recalled, “I applied for a security licence and started working as a bouncer, four nights a week,” according to the Wairoa Star. I occasionally slept for two to three hours before going to school. A difficult couple of years passed. It was a huge juggling act because I also had fatherly duties to fulfill.
Is Ethan in a relationship?
Ethan has not publicly acknowledged being in a relationship, but The Gisbourne Herald in New Zealand stated that Ethan and lover Shayne Edwards went to Sydney in 2017 in order to pursue acting.
He was also spotted with Shayne on May 16, 2022, at the Sydney premiere of Top Gun: Maverick at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter.
Does Ethan have any children?
Yes, Ethan welcomed Aaylah when he was 16 years old. She is his only child.
The actor frequently posts sweet photos of the father and daughter together on his social media accounts, demonstrating how close they are.
The Wairoa Star quoted him as saying, “I’ve always been quietly ambitious, and becoming a father at a young age made me more determined to achieve anything I set my mind to. ” He talked about becoming a father at a young age. I’ve always wished to serve as a good example for my kid.
