Liam Connor is at his wits’ end because Mason Radcliffe has been making his life an absolute nightmare in the past few months.
Time is running out when Liam’s mother Maria discovers something terrible on Coronation Street the following week.
As the schoolboy played by Charlie Wrenshall faces serious danger at the hands of insane Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan), ITV viewers have been fearing the worst for Liam Connor.
When the problematic character first appeared in the cobbles in 2023, Liam was the immediate target of all of his attacks.
Mason and Liam almost got into a fight in recent scenes before the bully stabbed his victim, leading many viewers of the Manchester-based show to think that the plot’s conclusion might be death.
Liam, fed up with his situation, begins to consider suicide as his only option, but his mother Maria (Samia Longchambon) is determined to keep him from making a grave mistake.
Next week, Liam tells Maria that he will no longer be attending school.
After seeing Mrs. Crawshaw, Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Maria explain to Liam that he is refusing to go to school because Mason and Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) are bullying him.
Mrs. Crawshaw informs them that she is powerless to help them until they have proof.
Subsequently, Liam’s social media accounts are likely to contain the evidence Maria needs, so Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) advises Maria to check them out.
Maria then decides to take matters into her own hands and sends Liam a follow request after making a fictitious SendPx account.
Maria’s expression turns pale as she reads through Liam’s account’s comments and realizes what is actually happening.
Liam’s only remaining option, according to Gary and Maria, is to change schools, but in his bedroom, the young man searches for suicide techniques.
In other scenes, Maria approaches Mason and Dylan and informs them that Liam will have to transfer schools as a result of their horrible bullying.
Mason finds it amusing, Dylan feels guilty, and later on, Liam calls Maria at the salon to tell her he loves her and that she is a good mother.
Liam looks at her as he leaves, knowing that this may be the last time they see each other since he is adamant about carrying out his plan.
Liam’s returned laptop’s search history is shown to Mrs. Crawshaw by a teacher at the school.
Gary is later called in after Maria misses a call from the school.
He tells Maria that Liam has been looking into ways to end his life after racing to the salon.
Maria is horrified and rushes back to the apartment in a desperate attempt to find Liam after recalling his previous remarks.
Will she succeed?
