Many have paid tribute to Tyler Christopher on social media as his friends and former co-stars continue to cope with his sudden passing. Now, as she attempted to express her emotions, GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Natalia Livingston posted some vintage images of them as Emily and Nikolas on Instagram.

She said, “I want everyone to know how gentle and sweet Ty was.” How talented, how committed, and how deeply he loved his work and people around him. I had the privilege of working with him for many years and was always in awe of his talent. He really made it safe for us to collaborate.

“Working with him gave me confidence,” Livingston added. He simplified things. He was giving. He portrayed scenes with such conviction and elegance. He put everything he had into his work. He was funny, too. Very humorous. I adored that quality in him. He laughed at me.

When Livingston returned to GH in April 2003, she assumed Amber Tamblyn’s iconic Emily Quartermaine role. She embraced the role and won the 2005 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

Livingston said, “He was one of the best chapters of my life, and I’ll always be grateful to him.” We’ve been apart for more than ten years, so I’m thrilled we’re back together. He was going to travel to Atlanta and have dinner at our house with my husband, myself, and our children. To me, that meant the world. I called him Ty, and he called me Naty. There was friendship. Through all of the highs and lows, it was always present.

She said, “My heart goes out to his family and his two precious children.” “Please, please don’t let this be your fate if you are dealing with alcohol abuse or a mental illness. Ty, I adore you. I will always remember you. I’m grateful for the memories. Peace be with you, my friend.
