Stephanie Davis, a star of Coronation Street, was injured and sent to the hospital right away.

The actress, who portrays Courtney Vance in the ITV soap, posted a video of her swollen ankle on Instagram stories to inform followers of the injuries she had suffered.

She described how she had injured it just where the bone was and how it had totally ballooned up, making it impossible for her to lift her leg.

After posting the video, she provided an update on her condition and thanked her followers for their well wishes. She also explained that she was now using crutches till she was able to bear weight once more.

She said she was glad it wasn’t broken and said it was just quite uncomfortable.

She thanked everyone for their kind words before announcing that she would be retiring to bed to rest her foot.

After nine years as Sinead O’Connor in Hollyoaks, Stephanie recently made her debut on Coronation Street.

Young Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) and her Corrie character struck up a romantic relationship that featured some explicit scenes.

Some have questioned what Courtney perceives in Aadi, but Stephanie clarified that it all comes from her connection to her husband Darren.

“Courtney is really drawn to Aadi, but it also stems from her connection to Darren,” says Courtney. Her confidence and sense of value have been impacted by his many affairs with her.

I am aware of her attraction to him, but a large part of it is revenge against her husband. Aadi exhibits her need for love by demonstrating it for her.

Stephanie recently tweeted photos from the ITV Summer Party with people like Ken Barlow actor William Roache, indicating that she gets along well with her Corrie coworkers.
