On the ITV series, serial killer Stephen Reid of Coronation Street might finally be caught. But it doesn’t seem like Tim Metcalfe will be responsible for his collapse.

On the ITV serial opera Coronation Street, Todd Boyce’s Stephen Reid, a murderer, has been getting close to Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews) lately.

Stephen’s actor Todd has hinted that their romance would mark the beginning of the end for his villainous persona.

He said that despite being pleased to have another opportunity with Jenny after several failed relationships, Stephen is worried that it would all end in tears.

Todd responded when asked what his relationship with Jenny would signify for Stephen: “Stephen’s fondness for smart and outspoken women could be his doom.

Gabrielle had knowledge and sass, but Jenny also had the extra quality of being a lot of fun, whereas Gabrielle wasn’t really funny. He likes ladies like that.

He told The Mirror, “The thing is, his love for smart and sassy women could be his downfall. Gabrielle got the measure of him and what’s to say Jenny won’t do that too.”

The Rovers Return has been having financial difficulties, so Jenny recently decided to sell it to Newton and Ridley.

ITV soaps have offered some spoilers. Jenny informs Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) that she no longer owns The Rovers when she arrives with Stephen in tow.

Later scenes show Stephen embracing Jenny and giving her a passionate kiss.

She gives him a second kiss before grabbing his hand and escorting him to the bedroom.

Soon after, they begin discussing a trip and are spotted strolling hand in hand along the street.

However, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine), who saw the two together, told Jenny later that she shouldn’t trust Stephen.

Later, the killer begins whining to Jenny about being forced to live on the street after Tim informs Stephen that Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) wants him out of her apartment.

Will Jenny follow Tim’s suggestion and not offer Stephen a place to stay, either temporarily or permanently?

On the Weatherfield soap, will a woman like Jenny help Stephen become a better person or could he commit murder once more?

Stephen can’t possibly get away with killing three innocent people in one year, right?
