Stephen Reid from Coronation Street is "exposed" after Carla Connor makes a drug admission

After months of lying, plotting, and murdering on the cobbles, Coronation Street watchers believe Stephen Reid’s downfall has finally begun.

Fans of Coronation Street believe that Todd Boyce’s character Stephen Reid will soon be exposed when Carla Connor (Alison King) confesses to using drugs.

Killer Stephen devised a cunning scheme earlier in the year to attempt to remove Carla from her position at the Underworld business.

He began adding LSD to her drink in an effort to make her appear out of sorts in front of the staff in order to take over the company.

After a few incidents of her drug-induced hallucinations, her family and friends became concerned that her psychosis had come back as she took some time off from work.

Carla just returned to Weatherfield and restored her position, despite Stephen getting what he wanted by taking over as manager while she was abroad.

ITV viewers saw her discussing the time Stephen was drugging her with close friend Roy Cropper (David Neilson) on Wednesday’s program.

Carla recognized the symptoms and immediately assumed someone had been doping her after speaking to Lou (Eleanor Howell) about LSD because her late husband Rufus Donahue (Steve Meo) had been a user.

Roy expressed his worries to Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), who was concerned that she had returned to her paranoid state, and Roy later made the decision to try and assist.

Carla made a terrifying promise and gave her a test that allowed her to send a sample of hair to check for any LSD residues.

If this test is positive, she threatened to make a scene.

Fans believe that Carla’s identification of a number of potential suspects, including Rufus, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), and Stephen, may have signaled the beginning of the killer’s downfall.
