Due to the summer hiatus of the show, fans of Home and Away have been watching “old episodes” on 7Plus in Australia. Summer Bay’s first new episodes won’t start airing until January 9 of the following year, but viewers have been able to keep up with the show by going back through old episodes.
The 2018 wedding of Brodie Morgan and Ziggy Astoni (Jackson Heywood and Sophie Dillman) featured a guest character played by Kirsty Marillier, who currently plays Rose Delaney. Just now, a different fan shared an intriguing nugget from an episode from 2004.
Ada Nicodemou has been portraying Leah Patterson, a fan favorite and one of the most enduring characters in the series, since March 2000.
As a stand-in for Sally Fletcher (Kate Ritchie) and Flynn Saunders, Ada seemed a little different, as one viewer noticed in a Facebook group (Joel McIlroy).
Leah had braces on her teeth when she gave birth to baby Pippa (Sally and Flynn’s kid), but I was unaware of them. Thought that kids/teenagers were the only ones with braces on their teeth,” the viewer said.
I didn’t see her with them when I first started watching the soap opera in 2006.
Adults can have braces, other people noted, and several individuals said they remembered seeing it on the show.
There are many adults receiving braces. But I do recall that Leah and Ada had them. According to one participant, “They typically keep them on for two years depending on how well it’s going.
A second said, “I guess she had them for a while lol.”
Another person said, “I remember when she got braces.”
One fan expressed astonishment that Leah served as a surrogate, and another fan opted to think back on their favorite plotlines.
Wow, Leah was Flynn and Sally’s surrogate. A viewer said, “Aw I absolutely didn’t remember that lol.
“I was just observing the standoff in Ailsa’s cafe. Another person said, “The bad guy was Lucas [Fitzgerald], the garage owner from Neighbours.
