Sian Reese-Williams, an Emmerdale actor, resigned her role as Gennie Walker ten years ago after being tragically murdered off in a murderous plot twist.

The Emmerdale actress Gennie Walker has completely changed since she first appeared in the ITV soap opera a decade ago.

The now-41-year-old is most known for her sleek brown bob and sharp fringe, yet since leaving the programme, she has adopted a quite different appearance.

Sian Reese-Williams posted several pictures of herself performing in the musical adaptation of the play In Dreams on Instagram.

Sian updated her followers on her new role while sporting long, curly brunette hair with some blonde streaks scattered throughout.

“This is Jane Seabrook (the greatest country rockstar name that never was),” she wrote as the caption of her post.

“Heartbreak Radio, the greatest country rock band that never was, has Jane as its lyricist.

“So… You Got It, Pretty Woman, Handle With Care, and many other songs have lyrics written by Jane.JANE REALLY IS A GENIUS.

The actress paid gratitude to her co-stars while admitting that this is her first musical theatre performance.

It didn’t take long for her former Emmerdale co-star Charley Webb to leave a remark on one of her posts about the programme.

Charley joked on a screenshot of the script, “I’ve never been more excited.”

User simonds474 commented on another image of Sian portraying Jane, writing, “Oh Sian! What a wonderful idea! You look amazing, and those boots are out of this world. I wish I could see it, though! So fun.”

Gillymbay continued, “Looks just fantastic. Take pleasure.

After Cameron Murray (Dominic Power) murdered off her character in Emmerdale in 2013, Sian left the show.

Before Cameron choked Gennie to death, she first got into a car accident.

He was anxious to prevent her from disclosing any details regarding his role in Tom Lister’s (Carl King’s) murder.

Sian played Gennie for five years beginning in 2008 when she made her acting debut in search of her biological father Shadrach Dingle (Andy Devine) in the village.

The actress acknowledged that when she made the decision to leave in the past, it felt like the perfect moment to go on.
