According to ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) teasers, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) might be hiding baby Ava. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lost her child, and she is now in grief.
Since Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) chose to save Sally’s life when there was little chance for their child to survive, she holds him accountable for the tragic choice.
Elena’s whereabouts have been questioned by certain followers, and there are even rumors that she may have absconded with the child. Sally would have something to fight for knowing that Elena has her kid after all, and the plot would be considerably less painful as a result.
Elena would become even less likeable as a result of the awful character dynamics that would result.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) Actually TAKE OFF With Baby Ava?
While some people think she stole Sally’s child, many are only now learning that she hasn’t even been in the picture. For a long time, Elena was a supporting figure who infrequently intervened in the lives of Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) or Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She has been incredibly forgetful lately though.
Perhaps it was her entire strategy, though. She may have wanted to make a big splash or at least have someone who needed and wanted her around because she felt so excluded from the guys in her life over the years and always played second fiddle. Wait for Ava. Elena would fulfill the position of the caregiver Ava would need.
Although that would be a major plot twist, I believe it is highly likely to occur. We wouldn’t have to be as upset about Sally and Adam losing their young girl, and the storylines would be a little more interesting. They would have something to work through as a couple, and ideally they’d finish up together the way they were supposed to!
