The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers are prepared to see what’s next, and it appears that there will be some intriguing narrative twists.
This appears to be a good episode for developing characters as everyone tries to get through their current predicaments, plus there’s a surprise twist on the horizon that should be intriguing.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 1: Making a deal with the devil
As she continues to “prove” her innocence, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) appears to be as anxious as ever to escape Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) control.
The only issue is that nobody trusts her because they know she’s up to something, and for good reason.
She will therefore try to strike a deal with the one person who she believes can and is prepared to assist her. She’ll think she has a leg up on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) because he’s already given her a job.
We anticipate that Adam will learn the real reason Phyllis wants him to assist her in stopping Tucker, which will set off some fascinating negotiations between them on “Young and the Restless.”
We don’t imagine Adam getting involved with her because of where he is in life and the attention he is receiving, but he always likes to live recklessly.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 1: Abby’s done
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), in a twist we hoped was coming but weren’t sure of, is going to have enough of Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) plans for retaliation.
Simply because Ashley will keep ranting and raving about Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) marriage as a dig at her, this will be a great scene.
Abby has long been dissatisfied with the course her mother has taken, and now she will observe how the situation plays out firsthand and learn that Tucker is not the cause of Ashley’s vengeance.
As a result, Abby will feel as though she has no choice but to ask her mother to leave after refusing to allow her host the wedding at her home.
It will be the tough love Ashley needs, but similar to Phyllis, she will undoubtedly go into a downward spiral of self-pity that she won’t be able to escape.
After her own kid had had enough of her, Tucker might be able to convince her to open her eyes, but we could be wishing too much.
